The POCO X5 Pro will come as the successor to the POCO X4 Pro from last year and will feature 5G network support. Speculations are rife that the handset will be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 12 Speed Edition that was recently unveiled in China.
There is a dedicated microsite on Flipkart and the POCO website, which has revealed some key specifications such as the chipset and 545K+ AnTuTu benchmark score. The POCO X5 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, which is a good option in the budget segment.

POCO X5 Pro price in India is said to be between Rs 21,000 and Rs 23,000, excluding any bank offers. The phone will be available in three models: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB model.

The POCO X5 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED panel with 1080×2400 pixels resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics and gaming needs. The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage that is further expandable via microSD card.
The POCO X5 Pro houses a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, hi-res audio, and an IR blaster for security.
For cameras, the POCO X5 Pro will feature a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
