The new feature of WhatsApp that gives more control to group admins comes into the picture when an invite link is broadcast to a WhatsApp group. Administrators will now be able to view all admission requests at one place and thus choose to grant admission to relevant users only. Along with this, WhatsApp has also introduced a handy feature that lets users see the groups they have in common with a particular contact. To use it, one can search for a contact on WhatsApp, and the app will automatically flash groups that are common with the contact right below the search bar.
WhatsApp is one of the most widely used messaging services in the world, with a presence spread across more than 100 countries. the app is also dead 2.2 billion active users (by 2021) and generate USD 906 million in revenue in 2022 (through the Apps business). The Meta-owned platform therefore keeps on implementing new features to enhance the user experience.
