Redmi 12C will launch in India on March 30 alongside the Redmi Note 12 4G Edition. This comes as a part of Mi Fan Festival Days.

The Redmi 12C will get a waterdrop notch at the front for the selfie shooter and noticeable bezels below the screen. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge. Moving to the back, you have a large camera island that houses two sensors along with an LED flash and a third cutout with ‘AI’ text inside. There is also a physical fingerprint sensor in this module. The back panel has a pattern finish for better grip on the hands. Redmi 12C will be available in Blue, Black, Purple and Green color options.

Coming to the specifications, the Redmi 12C is confirmed to feature a large 6.71-inch display that may bear HD+ resolution with 20:9 aspect ratio and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The company says that this is the largest display in the phone launched in 2023 and its price is in the segment of around Rs 10,000.
The smartphone is claimed to be the fastest in the segment thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity G85 SoC. The chipset can be paired with up to 6GB of RAM and has expandable RAM support up to 5GB. There will be a 50MP dual camera setup on the back. Lastly, the phone will have a 5000mAh battery on board.
While the front camera details have not been revealed, the phone packs a 5MP unit for clicking selfies.
