Vivo is said to be gearing up to launch the flagship Vivo X100 series, which will be the successor to the Vivo X90 series featuring the X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro Plus 5G. The Chinese multinational is yet to announce the official launch date of the X100 series but it is likely to release in the second half of 2023. Like the X90 lineup, the Vivo X100 series is also expected to come with three models: Vivo X100, X100 Pro, and X100 Pro Plus.
The Vivo X100 series is said to come with exceptional camera features and the camera specifications of the Vivo X100 Pro Plus 5G have now been leaked by tipster Panda Is Bald ahead of its launch. The specifications were mentioned in a report by TechGoing, citing the tip.
Vivo X100 Pro+ Camera Specs (Tipped)
The leak suggests that the Vivo X100 Pro Plus Plus comes with variable aperture support. This type of technology was earlier featured in some smartphones, however, it did not find much success in the market. As a result, it was discontinued and companies started launching smartphones with fixed apertures ranging from f1/.5 to f/1.8. A variable aperture allows smartphone users to manually adjust the main camera aperture to control the level of light entering the camera through the sensor.
The report also states that the Vivo X100 Pro Plus will come with a periscope telephoto lens, allowing users to experience an advanced zoom camera to take detailed zoomed shots even in low light. Furthermore, the smartphone will feature a V3 image signal processor that will help in better photography and graphics experience.
In addition, an ultra-wide free-form surface lens will enable X100 Pro Plus 5G users to take wide and clear shots, be it for clicking detailed landscapes or large group photos. The tipster claims a portrait micro-cloud platform as another feature of the smartphone. According to them, this platform uses an advanced algorithm to create stunning portrait shots with exceptional details and clarity.
More details about the Vivo X100 series should be revealed soon, so stay tuned.
