Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 camera specs leaked

Noted tipster Yogesh Brar, who has previously been accurate on Samsung leaks, took to Twitter to share the alleged camera specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. According to him, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 will sport a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP telephoto sensor. Notably, this is the same arrangement that was seen on last year’s Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Furthermore, according to Brar, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will reportedly come with a 12MP + 12MP (ultrawide) dual camera setup at the back. Although it may sound strange, the image sensors in both these smartphones will be new; It’s just that the megapixels are the same as before. So, expect an increase in camera quality.

Furthermore, the tipster has confirmed the improved hinge on both the phones, which could be tested for even more folds this time around. Then, you have leaks for larger external displays. This could allow for a more immersive experience when the smartphone is folded. Lastly, we can see the two smartphones powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor under the hood.

Interestingly, this leak is quite different from the previous report from January which suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold5 would come with a 108MP primary camera sensor. The report also claims that the new creaseless display technology will be available in the foldable smartphone.
