The phones will come as the successor to the Galaxy S22 lineup from last year and are expected to bring some significant improvements and changes in camera and performance.  The Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup is strongly rumored to be powered by an overclocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC.  It is expected that the Galaxy S23 Indian variant will also come with a Qualcomm SoC instead of Exynos.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the launch, here&#8217;s a quick preview of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, including launch date, specifications, expected price, and more.  let&#8217;s get started.<\/p>\n<h2>Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Launch Date<\/h2>\n<p>Samsung Galaxy S23 will be launched on February 1 at the Unpacked event.  The phone will be announced globally and we can expect a hush price announcement in India soon.<\/p>\n<h2>Samsung Galaxy S23 Series India\/Global Price<\/h2>\n<p>As per the leak, the Samsung Galaxy S23 price in India is expected to start from Rs 79,999, which is Rs 7,000 more than the Galaxy S22 series price.  The Galaxy S23+ could be priced at Rs 89,999, while the Galaxy S23 Ultra will reportedly start at Rs 1,14,999.<\/p>\n<p>Globally, the series is expected to start at $799 (roughly Rs. 65,000) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.  Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus may start from $999 (roughly Rs. 81,200) for the 8GB + 256GB model.  Samsung will also offer an 8GB\/512GB model.  Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could start at $1,199 (roughly Rs. 97,400) for the 8GB\/256GB model. The vanilla and Plus models will have rounded edges with an aluminum frame and what appears to be a glass back.  The phone will have a centrally-positioned punch-hole cutout and ultra-narrow bezels.  The volume rocker and power button will be present on the right side, while the Type-C port, speaker grille and SIM tray section will be on the bottom.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will sport a Note-like design with sharp edges and a boxy design.  However, the design of the phone remains the same.  There is a centrally-positioned punch-hole cutout and narrow bezels. All models are expected to have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The phones are expected to be powered by an overclocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with Adreno GPU, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage that is further expandable via microSD card.  The new models of the Galaxy S23 series will run on OneUI 5.1 custom skin out-of-the-box based on Android 13.  Connectivity options could include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging.<\/p>\n<p>The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging.  vanilla model a<span> There could be a 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging and a 4,700mAh battery on the Galaxy S23 Plus. <\/span>Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.  The phone will boot on the latest Android 13-based One UI 5.1.<\/p>\n<p>Moving on to optics, <span>The vanilla Galaxy S23 is said to pack a 50MP primary camera with LED flash and OIS, a 12MP 120-degree FoV, and a 10MP telephoto sensor.  There is a 10MP snapper at the front for selfies and video chats.  The exact configuration is expected on the Plus variant as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to come with <\/span>Quad cameras on the back with a 200MP Samsung HP2 primary camera, a 12MP Sony IMX564 ultra-wide camera, and two 10MP telephoto sensors with support for 3x and 10x optical zoom.  The details of the front camera are not very clear at the moment.
