The Tata Xpres-T EV sedan will operate under the premium ride category of Uber India. The new trim level is based on Tata\u2019s Ziptron technology which powers the Tata Nexon EV, Tata Tiago EV and Tata Tigor EV. <span>Tata\u2019s Ziptron technology is a high-voltage architecture that uses a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor producing 75hp and 170Nm.  The smaller battery pack offers an ARAI-certified range of 277 km which goes up to 315 km on the larger battery pack.  Tata says the battery can go from zero to 80 percent charge in 59 minutes and 110 minutes for the 26kWh and 25.5kWh battery packs, respectively, using the DC charger. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Tata XPres-T EV sedan is priced <span>14.98 lakh (ex-showroom) but Rs 2.6 lakh in subsidy can be availed under the FAME II scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<aside class=\"mashsb-container mashsb-main mashsb-stretched\"\/><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Notably, Tata has so far delivered over 50,000 units of the EV for passenger and fleet operations in India.
