The very first thing that impressed me about the iPhone 14 Plus was its weight. about 203 grams, it is One of the lightest 6.7-inch iPhones<\/strong>, Mind you, I switched from the iPhone 12 Pro Max to the iPhone 14 Plus that I was using as my daily driver, which is a whole 25 grams heavier. Now, Apple is using the older A15 Bionic chipset instead of the A16 Bionic to power the iPhone 14 Plus, but you really won’t be able to tell the difference. the phone is absolutely Smooth when it comes to multitasking between apps<\/strong>, Speed \u200b\u200bis not an issue with the iPhone 14 Plus and the A15 Bionic is more than capable of running intensive tasks. But the icing on the cake here is its thermal efficiency as the phone hardly heats up when used for a long time, especially while recording videos.<\/p>\n

The fact that the iPhone 14 Plus stays cool during the day also means you won’t see a drastic drop in its battery life. In fact, The iPhone 14 Plus has great battery life<\/strong>, I was able to use it for a full day, which included taking tons of photos and videos, browsing various social media apps, and email, and still had about 30 to 40 percent battery life left at the end of the day.<\/p>\n

Of course, the cameras on the iPhone 14 Plus are great<\/strong>, You get 12MP sensors across the board – two on the back and one on the front. I was able to take some crisp daylight shots of Barcelona with a good dynamic range and natural looking colours. The pictures look pretty much the same when switching between the 12MP main and 12MP wide-angle cameras. The large aperture is particularly useful in low light and the iPhone 14 Plus does quite well when there’s ample ambient light. Again, the streets of Barcelona looked pretty decent in low light on the iPhone 14 Plus.<\/p>\n

What doesn’t work for iPhone 14 Plus<\/h2>\n

Apple could have provided a 90Hz screen, but unfortunately, you’ll have to buy one of the Pro models if you want the ultra-smooth 120Hz ProMotion display. This is not to say that the display of the iPhone 14 Plus is bad. It’s still a big and gorgeous OLED screen with vibrant colors and enough brightness for outdoor usefulness. But you still miss out on the smooth scrolling and gaming experience that you get on high refresh rate displays.<\/p>\n
