As we prepare for the global debut as well as the India launch, let\u2019s focus on one of the phone\u2019s most impressive features: its camera.  The advanced camera setup of the Xiaomi 13 Pro has been developed in collaboration with Leica, and a closer look reveals that it has the potential to revolutionize smartphone photography.<\/p>\n<h2>talent of leica<\/h2>\n<p>It is not a new phenomenon for smartphones to sport the branding of established names in the photography industry.  Although we have seen many examples where branding only adds a certain aesthetic to photos, the Xiaomi 13 Pro sets itself apart by offering a unique experience that goes beyond just a branding exercise.<\/p>\n<p>The word \u201cco-engineered\u201d is important here.  As a result of this partnership, the phone receives Leica\u2019s full Vario Summicron 1:1.9-2.2\/14-75 ASPH.  System.  This means that all three cameras on the back are built in such a way that they can offer a wide 14-75mm range.  While the ultra-wide lens offers an equivalent focal length of 14mm, the main camera has an equivalent focal length of 23mm.  Lastly, the telephoto sensor offers an equivalent focal length of 75mm.<\/p>\n<p>As if that wasn\u2019t enough, the phone is also the beneficiary of two iconic Leica photography styles meant to elevate your images to the next level.  Leica Authentic Look preserves the original light play and does not modify images.  On the other hand, the Leica Vibrant Look provides a brighter tone and essentially amplifies the brighter tone.  Both these modes ensure that the Xiaomi 13 Pro provides a great photography experience to the users.  The availability of Leica aesthetics at your fingertips is complemented by other additions such as a new camera UI, the iconic Leica watermark, exclusive Leica filters and the classic Leica shutter sound.<\/p>\n<h2>Sharpness of 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor<\/h2>\n<p>The triple camera setup of the Xiaomi 13 Pro is powered by a 50MP Leica camera with f\/1.9 aperture and 23mm focal length.  It\u2019s a Sony IMX989 unit, which houses a massive 1-inch sensor with 1.6\u00b5m pixel size.  One cannot expect ultra-high-quality, highly detailed images from this camera.  This sensor is assisted by Xiaomi ProFocus technology, which focuses on the important things even when there is a lot of movement in the frame.  There is also HyperOIS feature, which guarantees blur-free photos and shake-free videos.  And you also get 10-bit DNG RAW support to meet the needs of professional photographers.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of videos, the Xiaomi 13 Pro can capture 8K videos, which is a great thing in itself.  However, where it really shines is through its support for capturing 4K 60fps footage with \u201cCreate in Dolby Vision\u201d support.  This means not only vivid colors but also stellar levels of contrast that make videos stand out.  Xiaomi\u2019s Ultra Night Video is also present on the 13 Pro, so you can capture stunning night-time footage without any grain.<\/p>\n<h2>Stunning portraits and close-ups with the 50MP telephoto lens<\/h2>\n<p>The 50MP telephoto camera on the Xiaomi 13 Pro achieves a 75mm focal length using a special floating lens design that enables it to focus from 10cm to infinity.  This DSLR-level internal focus technology is perfect for capturing stunning portraits and close-up shots.  You will be pleased to know that not only does this camera come with its own OIS system, but it is also a beneficiary of Xiaomi ProFocus technology.  And then there\u2019s also the Portrait Night mode, which works in low light to deliver the most professional-grade portrait shots possible.<\/p>\n<h2>Capture more with the 50MP ultra-wide camera<\/h2>\n<p>Xiaomi has made sure that the Leica branding extends to the ultra-wide camera as well.  It is also a 50MP snapper that offers a focal length as wide as 14mm, giving a 115-degree field of view.  Such a setup can help you get an entirely new perspective on the shot you\u2019re trying to capture.  And with the 50MP sensor paired with the f\/2.2 6P lens, you can expect your ultra-wide shots to be filled with a high amount of detail and sharpness.<\/p>\n<h2>Xiaomi and Leica: what could go wrong?<\/h2>\n<p>The Xiaomi 13 Pro has so much going for it in the camera department that one can only imagine how amazing its other specs could be.
