As per reports, users started complaining about the issue soon after Samsung\u2019s latest OneUI 5.1 software update was also rolled out for the Galaxy S23 Ultra.  There seems to be a bug in this update as many users have started complaining about the S Pen repeatedly disconnecting from the phone \u2013 thus rendering it completely useless.<\/p>\n<p>Users have suggested some workarounds for this bug, such as resetting the S Pen from the \u2018Advanced Features\u2019 tab of Samsung\u2019s Settings menu.  Users have also tipped that this issue can be dealt with by selecting the \u2018Keep S Pen Always Connected\u2019 option.  However, the latter isn\u2019t a particularly prudent idea, as it substantially increases battery consumption by keeping a Bluetooth connection always active.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung has not yet released any statement on the matter as to what could be causing the problem.  In fact, it has yet to be acknowledged as a widespread problem, so it remains to be seen how matters progress.  Users had earlier complained about a blip at the corner of the display, suggesting a manufacturing defect.
