Android Updates for OnePlus Smartphones<\/h2>\n

As per the report, OnePlus President for the Chinese market Li Ji has said that the OnePlus 11 5G, OnePlus Ace 2 and OnePlus Ace 2V will get four major Android updates as well as five years of security patches, indicating that the OnePlus 11 5G will be eligible for Android 17.<\/p>\n

The report states that the company will cost more than CNY 100 million, which is roughly Rs 119 crore, to maintain its phone for more than four years after launch. It should be noted that this information was provided by the president of the Chinese subsidiary of OnePlus. Hence, we are still waiting for an official confirmation from OnePlus representatives across the globe.<\/p>\n

With this, the company will have the longest support for its flagship models along with Samsung and Google.<\/p>\n

Android update on Samsung, Google phones<\/h2>\n

Last year, South Korean tech giant Samsung had said that its flagship devices would receive four years of Android OS updates and the mid-range Samsung Galaxy A53 would launch with the same software support. For the Pixel flagship smartphones, Google has promised three major Android OS updates over the course of five years and five years of security updates.
