These include a total of four design images, which completely cover the front and back of the smartphone, and a 360-degree animated view on top of it.

pixel 8 pro

The very first thing that comes to mind when you see a render are rounded or curved corners. It’s a facelift compared to the sharper corners on the predecessor. Apart from this, we also see a slight change in the camera module. The three camera sensors have now been combined into a single oval-looking cutout. Additionally, there seems to be another sensor below the camera flash, whose functionality is unknown as of now.

At the bottom, you see the usual USB Type-C port and speaker grille. And there is no interest in the top of the smartphone. On the right side we see the power button and volume rocker, while the left side of the phone appears to have a SIM tray, possibly for a Nano SIM card. The Google logo is visible on the back panel.

pixel 8 pro specifications

The report also mentions some of the key specifications of the Google Pixel 8 Pro. It is expected to sport a 6.52-inch display panel with a punch-hole style cutout for the selfie camera. The dimensions are revealed to be 162.6×76.5×8.7mm with a thickness of 12mm around the camera bump.

Notably, we first saw a November 2022 Pixel 8 series leak. It was revealed that the codenames of Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are “Shiba” and “Husky” respectively. The report also suggested that the Pixel 8 series could see a new processor, most likely the Tensor G3, which was codenamed “Zuma”.

pixel 8

Next up, we have another report, this time by MySmartPrice in collaboration with Onleaks, which has leaked design renders of the Pixel 8. It shows the upcoming smartphone in a white color option. Furthermore, the back panel houses a small oval-shaped dual camera setup with an LED flash.

Like the Pixel 8 Pro renders, these also show a more curved design on the Pixel 8. It is a departure from the sharp edges of its predecessors. The report suggests that the smartphone will sport a 5.8-inch display with the same punch-hole camera design. Apart from this, the specifications around the smartphone remain largely the same as seen on the Pixel 8 Pro renders.

Furthermore, the dimensions are expected to be 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm with a maximum thickness of 12mm around the camera module. This makes it smaller than the Pixel 7.

pixel 8 specifications

Apart from the dimensions and screen size, the Pixel 8 will likely be powered by the announced Tensor G3 processor from Google. Full-HD + screen can come with 2268 x 1080 pixel resolution. Other specifications could be leaked closer to the expected Google I/O 2023 launch.

According to a report by Smartprix in association with Onleaks, leaked renders of the Pixel 8 Pro have surfaced.
