There are reports that the device is likely to be repackaged as Nord 3 in the Indian markets. Whether this is true or not will soon become clear but from a specs point of view, the Ace 2V is in a pretty strong position. In terms of processing, the phone uses a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, which was seen in some of the flagship offerings last year.

I also have the OnePlus 11R (Review) with me, which is also a decent handset in terms of performance. Let us see how both the smartphones compare with each other when it comes to processing. It is important to note that the Ace 2V is imported from China and does not have Google’s Play Store. As a result, all benchmarking applications have been sideloaded to the device.

geekbench 6

OnePlus Ace 2V (L) vs OnePlus 11R (R)

With the new Geekbench 6 synthetic benchmark, a score is generated based on a chipset’s multi-core and single-core performance. The OnePlus Ace 2V scored very well in the test with scores of 3,423 and 1,166 respectively. For the OnePlus 11R, the scores are slightly lower at 3,375 and 931. The difference is negligible at the multi-core level, but the 2V’s single-core performance is about 20 percent ahead of the 11R. Nevertheless, one can say that both the phones will be evenly matched in most CPU-intensive tasks.

Antutu V9

OnePlus Ace 2V (L) vs OnePlus 11R (R)

The OnePlus 11R is a pretty good performer on Antutu, with the handset getting a score of 850,543. However, the result is trumped by the OnePlus Ace 2V which reaches almost 1,000,000 on the benchmarking app. It is interesting to note though that the 11R has a better GPU score than the 2V, but lags behind in terms of CPU, memory and UI. As a percentage measure, the Ace 2V is ahead of the 11R by about 15 percent, which is a decent amount.

cpu throttle test

OnePlus Ace 2V (L) vs OnePlus 11R (R)

It is also important to understand how well the smartphone performs under constant load. The CPU Throttle benchmark seems like a good way to test it. During the 30-minute test with 20 threads, the OnePlus Ace 2V was able to maintain around 78 percent of its peak performance, while the number on the OnePlus 11R was around 70 percent. As a result the former is more adept at maintaining its processing power for longer periods of time, even when under constant load.

3DMark Wildlife Stress Test

To get a sense of how good a GPU is, 3DMark provides a set of benchmarks that can emphasize a system’s graphical capabilities. The Wild Life Stress Test is similar to the CPU Throttle benchmark, with the difference being that the former uses visually challenging tests to measure graphical output under load. Here, the OnePlus Ace 2V comes out on top with a stability score of 84.4 percent, compared to the OnePlus 11R’s 78.2 percent. It should be noted that the 11R generated a lot more frames as compared to the Ace 2V which reflects the better GPU of the chipset.

Decision

From these tests, we can tell that the OnePlus Ace 2V, which costs significantly less in China (when converted to Indian Rupees) is a more processor-powered option than the OnePlus 11R. However, if you like to play a lot of heavy-duty gaming titles, the latter seems like a sensible choice. It remains to be seen whether the upcoming OnePlus might share the specs of the Nord 3 Ace 2V and at what price tag it will be announced in the Indian market.

OnePlus Ace 2V was recently announced in China for a starting price of CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 27,000).
