Smartphones like the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 were the first to be affected, but it soon started appearing on the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Fold3 as well.  Samsung later confirmed through its Thailand community forum that the One UI 5.1 update consumes more battery than usual, SamMobile reported. <\/p>\n<p>However the issue was quickly fixed and may have gone unnoticed by Samsung users.  The company had already rolled out a fix with Samsung Keyboard app update v5.6.10.31.  The update was rolled out on March 2 this year, which means most users must have already installed it.  Yet it might have been missed and hence users who have One UI 5.1 update on their Samsung devices should update the Samsung Keyboard app to the latest version. <\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have automatic updates turned on, the app can be updated manually through Samsung\u2019s Galaxy Store.  You can do this by going to Galaxy Store > Updates > Samsung Keyboard > Update.  Another way is to open Samsung Keyboard > Settings > About Samsung Keyboard > Updates.  <\/p>\n<p>The report states that Samsung has acknowledged the battery drain issue with the Samsung Keyboard app, but some users are still facing the issue after updating it.
