The film will be a sequel to 2020 Netflix blockbuster Extraction, with lead actor Chris Hemsworth playing mercenary Tyler Rake as he confronts a drug lord to rescue a kidnapped child.  The story of Extraction 2 is expected to pick up from where the first film left off, with Tyler Rake alive and on the run.  The film is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo\u2019s production company AGBO, and is to be distributed by Netflix like the first film. Netflix confirmed the same earlier this year, putting an end to all the rumours.  This marks a gap of over three years between the two films, as the original Extraction was released on April 24, 2020.  The film was a huge hit on Netflix and was viewed over 99 million times in its first four weeks of premiere.  ,  This resulted in heavy promotion for the sequel.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>extraction 2 alleged cast<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<p>According to multiple reports, the sequel to the Netflix action thriller will see most of the lead cast reprising their original roles.  Obviously, there\u2019s Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, a former SASR operator turned Black Ops mercenary, who will be back for another adventure.  Then, there\u2019s Golshifteh Farahani as Nick Kaan, a mercenary and Tyler\u2019s partner, and Adam Bessa as Yaz Kaan, a member of Nick\u2019s crew. Since the film is releasing in the next two months, we can expect the official trailer to drop on YouTube in the next few weeks, possibly in mid-May 2023. <\/p>\n<p>That said, Netflix has released the official teaser trailer for the upcoming film.  This 123-second clip shows Chris Hemsworth back in action as he begins by fighting some deadly fighters that look like the opposition.  He is then hit on the back by someone after a flashback to his trauma from the first film.<\/p>\n<p>He then fights with riot police and several ruffians in the crowd.  The clip ends with a high-octane sequence of him firing bullets on a helicopter.  The film is produced by Avengers: Endgame producers Joe and Anthony Russo.<\/p>\n<h2>Extraction 2: What to Expect?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<p>Now that we have a teaser trailer for the film, we have a pretty good idea of \u200b\u200bwhat to expect from Extraction 2 on Netflix.<\/p>\n<p>It is likely that Extraction 2 will continue from where the first film left off.  To recall, the first film ends with the main character, Rake, nearly dying from an attack only to return for his next mission.  The new mission was hinted to revolve around Rake and Gaspar, from the time they were teammates.  The first film followed the character of Tyler Rake (played by Chris Hemsworth), a black market mercenary who is hired to rescue the son of an international crime lord.<\/p>\n<p>Certainly, since the first film was an action-packed thriller with intense fight scenes and stunning cinematography, it is safe to assume that Extraction 2 will also be packed with action and excitement.  It will be packed with deadly sequences, which will make the experience more thrilling.<\/p>\n<p>Like you, we are super excited about Extraction 2. But as is the clich\u00e9, they soon find themselves in the middle of a dangerous and chaotic situation with limited options.  He is pursued by both a rival drug lord\u2019s army and the Bangladeshi police, who are determined to kill and stop him.<\/p>\n<p>As they make their way through the capital city, Rek and Ovi form a bond and develop a relationship that goes beyond the confines of their initial mission.  The film is filled with intense and thrilling action sequences as Rake battles dozens of enemies and puts his life on the line to protect Ovi.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, Rake is able to rescue Ovi and bring her back to safety, but not without suffering some tragic losses along the way.  The film ends with Rake\u2019s fate as he falls off a bridge and into a river after being shot.
