And they finally got it through an official statement on Twitter. <\/p>\n<p>The publishers have now decided that the new release date for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be February 2, 2024.<\/p>\n<div id=\"truncateDiv\">\n<p>\u201cWe have made the difficult but necessary decision to take the necessary time off to work on making the game the best quality experience for players. Thank you to our amazing community for your continued support, patience and understanding,\u201d the statement said. There is much more to share in the coming months and we look forward to seeing you next year at Metropolis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"otherDiv\">\n<p>This is the latest delay for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which previously had a release date of 2022 and a May 2023 release timeline.<\/p>\n<p>The first time we heard about the title being under pressure was when Bloomberg\u2019s Jason Schreier and Windows Central\u2019s Jez Corden reported that after the February PlayStation State of Play gameplay showcase fans were feeling a certain way.  It was reported that fans were a bit iffy about the Live Service model and Battle Pass cosmetics, drawing unfavorable comparisons to Marvel\u2019s Avengers.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the issues, Schreier insists that the delay will probably only be for standard polishing and that nine months isn\u2019t enough to significantly change the game. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">On Suicide Squad\u2026<br \/>1) Nine months is not enough time to completely change the nature of the game<br \/>2) The team was told the delay was for polish and not related to February\u2019s gameplay showcase<br \/>3) Many other factors can affect release time (eg console manufacturer)<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jason Schreier (@jasonschreier) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jasonschreier\/status\/1646599834785271827?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow\">April 13, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>    Regardless, it looks like fans will have to wait until February 2024 before they can play it.
