Multiplexes offer Re 1 for 30 minutes of screening, not of the film itself, but of the 10 upcoming trailers.  According to PVR Inox, this screening can help moviegoers decide which movie to watch next.<\/p>\n<p>The trailers of the film will be screened in English, Hindi and regional languages \u200b\u200band will give a glimpse of what\u2019s in the lineup for the coming months.  Tickets for the 30-minute trailer screening can be bought from BookMyShow and Paytm.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrailers are all about sampling a film. If you like a sample of what you have seen, we believe this will get us a lot of viewership,\u201d Gautam Dutta, Co-founder, PVR-INOX -CEO was told by CNBC TV-18. <\/p>\n<p>Since Kovid-19, there has been a decrease in the number of viewers in multiplexes.  Despite being fully open and functional for almost a year, the multiplexes are still not seeing the expected number of movie-goers.  According to a report in Business Today, PVR Joint Managing Director Sanjeev Kumar Bijli expects many footfalls to return to pre-Covid levels in the next two to three quarters. <\/p>\n<p>The latest strategy of PVR Inox is expected to help in increasing the viewership.  As CNBC TV-18 reports, the 30-minute screening is currently running as a pilot in several cities, and the company says it\u2019s getting over 35 percent viewership.<\/p>\n<p>Movie trailers are shown prior to the start of movie screenings but are limited to about four trailers.  With the new exclusive screenings, interested customers can view a total of 10 trailers and plan their movie schedule for the next few months.
