And no, it doesn\u2019t pay like Twitter, so you can use this feature for free. <\/p>\n<h2>How does Tinder\u2019s video verification work?<\/h2>\n<p>Photo verification works by asking users to take selfies in a stable pose and these photos will then be compared to other photos on the user\u2019s profile.  Now along with photo verification, video verification is also necessary. This is a way for Tinder to verify users who may have old photos on the app.  As for video selfies, you can start taking them on Tinder now.  This feature has been launched globally, and it is free to use. <\/p>\n<p>Tinder gives users more control over who they are talking to by choosing to only receive messages from verified accounts.  The feature is rolling out in the coming months and will be available in the app\u2019s messaging settings.  Plus, Tinder users who are photo verified can ask their matches to do so before their conversation begins.<\/p>\n<p>Tinder Gold, the paid version of the dating platform, has another feature for its users, who can filter their \u201clikes\u201d to only photo verified users.<\/p>\n<p>Other dating apps like Hinge and Bumble also offer photo verification, and like Tinder the feature is voluntary.
