Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro are slated to be launched globally in November 2022 after being unveiled in China. While the lineup also included the Vivo X90 Pro Plus, this particular handset is exclusive to China for the time being. Talking about Vivo X90 and X90 Pro, these smartphones are equipped with high-grade cameras, flagship chipsets and ultra-fast charging capabilities. Furthermore, both these devices will gradually launch in several European and Asian markets including India.

Key specifications of the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro include large AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 9200, 50MP primary camera tuned in collaboration with Zeiss, dedicated V2 chip for better photography and gaming, and 120W fast charging support.

Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro prices, availability

Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro have been officially launched in Malaysia today in a single storage configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM. The vanilla X90 is priced at MYR 3,699 (roughly Rs. 70,000) while the X90 Pro is priced at MYR 4,999 (roughly Rs. 95,000). As far as color options are concerned, the standard X90 comes in Breeze Blue and Asteroid Black, and the X90 Pro comes in a single Legend Black vegan leather option.3

Early buyers of the devices can grab the free Vivo TWS Air with Protection Plus plan that includes 1-year extended phone warranty, 1-year screen crack protection, and 1-year battery warranty.

The Indian price of the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro will be revealed at a later date when the handsets are officially unveiled in the country.

Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro Specifications

Vivo X90: Vivo X90 features a 6.76-inch curved FHD+ Q9 Ultra-Vision AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout for 32MP selfie snapper, HDR10+, and 2,800×1,260 pixels resolution. At its core is the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

    Vivo X90

The photography side of things is taken care of by a triple-camera setup that houses an OIS-enabled 50MP IMX866 main sensor with f/1.75 aperture, a 12MP IMX663 ultra-wide angle lens with OIS, and a 12MP 2x portrait camera. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data sync. The phone measures 164×74.4×8.4mm and weighs 200 grams. For security there is an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

To power the Vivo X90, there is a 4,810mAh battery that supports 120W Dual Cell Flash Charging. The phone boots on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 custom skin out-of-the-box.

Vivo X90 Pro: Coming to the Pro variant, it features a curved FHD+ Q9 Ultra-Vision AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 20:9 aspect ratio, 452 PPI, 2160Hz PWM, and 2,800×1,260 pixels resolution and 1300 nits peak brightness. The MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone also runs on Android 13-based OriginOS 3 out of the box.

    Vivo X90 Pro

The Vivo X90 Pro packs a 4,870mAh battery with 120W FlashCharge support, which Vivo claims can charge the battery from 0 to 50 percent in about 8 minutes. The phone also gets wireless charging support of up to 50W. Coming to connectivity options, it includes 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. The device measures 164×74.5×9.3mm and weighs 214.85 grams. There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor, hi-res audio, and aptX-HD for security.

For optics, the X90 Pro sports a 50MP IMX989 one-inch main camera with f/1.75 aperture, a 50MP IMX758 2x portrait camera, and a 12MP IMX663 ultrawide lens. There is a 32MP unit housed in the punch-hole cutout for selfies and video chats.

In addition, both the handsets come with several unique camera features and modes developed by Zeiss such as Cine Flare Portrait, Zeiss Miniature Effect, Handheld Astrophotography mode, and more.
