Want to buy the iPhone 14 Pro Max but worried about the steep price tag? Well, Aliexpress always has some options for you. Exhibit A: The i14 Pro Max, an iPhone 14 Pro Max clone, has been listed on a Chinese e-commerce platform for a fraction of the original.

Available for purchase globally, the I14 Pro Max has two listings (1,2) on Aliexpress (via Gizmochina) that reveal a design that looks similar to the ultra-premium iPhone 14 Pro Max by Apple. In some user review photos, the rear of the smartphone has been lifted from the Apple flagship with a similar, albeit smaller, triple rear camera setup. However, with a price tag of $89.69 (roughly Rs. 7,600) for the 2GB RAM variant and $126 (roughly Rs. 10,800) for the 6GB RAM model, it’s probably futile to despair.
And, did we tell you that this iPhone 14 Pro Max clone runs Android? Yes, I mean given no other option, Apple doesn’t make their iOS available for open source boot loading. That said, the specifications listed on AliExpress include a full-HD+ 6.5-inch AMOLED (!!) display with 95 percent screen-to-body ratio and 120Hz refresh rate, excuse us from swallowing that price tag. Seems really difficult. ,
Apart from this, the smartphone is claimed to come with Face Unlock, MediaTek MTK6753 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, 2800mAh battery, 8+16MP camera and dual SIM card support. Interestingly, the Face Unlock technology on the front looks narrower than the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which makes us wonder if this seller on AliExpress really figured out a way to refine it further (no).
Just to be clear, we never condone these types of clones and recommend you to stay away from such listings. Honestly, it is about time these clones are removed from Aliexpress, and better be careful and repent after such purchases. It’s always best to buy the real deal, and if you’re short on money, might we recommend our list of the best Android smartphones on a budget?
