The design of the Pixel 7a device that was sold on eBay was supposed to resemble the actual Pixel 7a based on several leaks and rumours, but with one difference – the branding. Google’s “G” logo appears on the back of Pixel devices, but this prototype has a logo that looks like a Pac-Man silhouette.

The listing on eBay showed that the seller tried to sell the prototype device for US$5,000, but no one was interested in the price. Hence, the seller sold it for US$1,650 (roughly Rs. 1,36,123.35). To put things in perspective, the Pixel 7a is said to be priced under US$500 (roughly Rs. 41,000), according to a GizmoChina report.

As per the eBay listing, the Pixel 7a prototype is non-working and has no SIM tray. It goes into fastboot mode but the buyer might be able to get it working. According to the listing, this Google Pixel 7a has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

A recent report states that the Google Pixel 7a will likely be unveiled at Google I/O 2023 on May 10. Like the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, the Google Pixel 7a will feature a punch-hole screen and a rectangular strip-shaped camera island at the top of the back panel.

The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a cutout in the middle for the front-facing camera. it will probably do a sport Dual rear camera setup, which includes 64MP Sony IMX787 main sensor and 12MP secondary camera.

The Google Pixel 7a will likely be powered by the Tensor G2 chipset and will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which may not be expandable. The Google Pixel 7a should run with Android 13 out of the box, but it should get an update to Android 14 when it stabilises.
