ASUS ROG Phone 7 Specifications Tipped; Expected to launch two models

Tipster Abhishek Yadav took to Twitter and revealed The ROG Phone 7 series will include two devices: the vanilla ROG Phone 7 and the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. According to him, ASUS is planning to release the ROG Phone 7 Pro which is a surprising development. Asus ROG Phone 7 specifications have been leaked

According to a recent tweet by Yadav, the ASUS ROG Phone 7 series will include two gaming smartphones: the ROG Phone 7 and the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. The upcoming devices will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, as is typical for Asus’ high-end smartphone series. The ROG Phone 7 series could come with the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with a maximum clock speed of 3.2GHz, instead of the overclocked version found in the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.

The leak also revealed that the ROG Phone 7 series will sport a triple camera setup at the back, which will include a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP macro sensor. The devices will feature a 32MP front camera sensor and measure 173 x 77 x 10.3mm, weigh 239 grams.

The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is expected to feature 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, surpassing the standard model’s 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The devices will run on Android 13 straight out of the box with a customized ROG UI layer.

Previous reports have suggested that the ROG Phone 7 series will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. The series is also said to pack a 6000mAh battery and support 65W fast charging. The lineup is scheduled to be launched on April 13, and wE will share more details once they become available.
