On microblogging platform Twitter, Browder shared his experience of using ChatGPT’s browsing extension for not claiming a recovery of over US$200 (roughly Rs. 16,468) from the government.
ChatGPT is helping to recover unclaimed money
The CEO requested that ChatGPT find some funds for him, and the AI chatbot complied with his request. Within minutes, he received US $ 210 (about Rs 17,293) from the California government. However, it should be noted that these were unclaimed receipts that Brower had not collected in the past.
Brower explained that the chatbot recommended visiting a website called “California State Controller,” a repository for unclaimed refunds from businesses that are unable to get in touch with the owner. After following the instructions, he checked again in a minute to see that he had received a total reward of US$209.67.
It’s fairly unusual for people to forget their claims, and the idea of unclaimed money isn’t really new. Promises of refunds, rebates, or deposits to customers are often forgotten, and individuals who fail to make claims may also miss out on their fair share of class action settlements. However, unclaimed money can be easily recovered with the help of ChatGPT and the browsing extension.
The browser extension for ChatGPT is designed to make it easy for users to quickly find and retrieve any unclaimed funds. Based on the user’s location and other factors, the AI chatbot can quickly search through government databases and locate unclaimed money.
