BGAUSS C12 Electric Scooter Price in India
The BGAUSS C12 electric scooter has been launched at a starting price of Rs 97,999 (ex-showroom). However, this is valid only on the opening stock. Once the first stock runs out, the BGAUSS C12 will be priced at Rs 1,04,999 (ex-showroom, post FAME II subsidy). The company will be offering easy EMI schemes that can make the BGAUSS C12 electric scooter available to interested buyers at a monthly payment of Rs 2,775 after a down payment of Rs 9,999.
BGAUSS C12 electric scooter is available in six color options – Matt Gauss Blue, Foliage Green, Yellow Black, Red Black, Shiny Silver and Pearl White. The BGAUSS C12 will come with a warranty of 3 years / 36,000 kms, which can be extended to 5 years / 50,000 kms at an additional cost.
BGAUSS C12 Electric Scooter Specifications
The BGAUSS C12 electric scooter gets a 3.2 kWh (60V 55AH) Li-ion battery pack with 21700 Li cells. The battery pack has a dedicated battery management system that keeps the battery temperature under control. This is paired with a 2.5kW motor which according to the company develops 105Nm of peak torque. This powertrain combo enables the BGAUSS C12 electric scooter to go up to a top speed of 50 kmph and deliver 143 km of claimed range. The battery pack is removable and the scooter takes around 5.5 hours to charge.
The company claims that it has extensively tested the BGAUSS C12 electric scooter and promises a run time of 10 years or one lakh kilometres. The BGAUSS C12 electric scooter rides on 12-inch front and 10-inch rear pressed steel wheels. Upfront there is telescopic front suspension and an adjustable rear shock absorber and the EV gets drum brakes at both the ends. The scooter has a ground clearance of 160+mm and has the capacity to store a full-size helmet under the seat. Other features include a side stand indicator and 240mm water wading capacity.
