Bhediya directed by Amar Kaushik, which was expected to release on OTT a few days ago, is still nowhere to be seen online. For a long time, the internet was buzzing with news about the unusual delay and then the expected OTT release date of Varun Dhawan’s move. As per reports, the OTT release of Bhediya was supposed to happen on JioCinema on April 21 this year.
However, much to the dismay of the fans, the film has still not released on OTT and JioCinema has not officially released any statement regarding the same. Since then, fans have not stopped expressing their disappointment and frustration with the plan of events on the internet.
The reason why fans are extremely disappointed with the delay in Bheriya OTT release is that generally, movies release within eight weeks of their theatrical release on OTT platforms. However, in the case of Bheriya, the film’s theatrical release in November 2022 is now more than five months away. A fan was also seen asking on Twitter “Will Bhediya ever release on OTT.” Fans have been constantly asking JioCinema about the delay and have been lashing out at the platform for not informing viewers about the unexpected delay till now.
