In yet another incident of smartphone fire, an eight-year-old girl died in Kerala after the mobile phone she was using allegedly exploded while she was watching a video, according to the police. going into details, Police told news agency PTI that Adityashree, a resident of Thiruvilwamala in Kerala, was using the phone at around 10:30 pm on Monday night when the phone exploded on her face. Adityashree was a student of class III in the local school. The police have registered a case and the investigation is currently underway.
However, smartphone buyers need to be educated about the consequences that can result from any unauthorized third-party repair which can lead to mobile phones overheating and exploding. Buyers should not mess with the internal parts of the phone nor should they take it to third party centers for repair.
