In yet another incident of smartphone fire, an eight-year-old girl died in Kerala after the mobile phone she was using allegedly exploded while she was watching a video, according to the police. going into details, Police told news agency PTI that Adityashree, a resident of Thiruvilwamala in Kerala, was using the phone at around 10:30 pm on Monday night when the phone exploded on her face. Adityashree was a student of class III in the local school. The police have registered a case and the investigation is currently underway.
However, smartphone buyers need to be educated about the consequences that can result from any unauthorized third-party repair which can lead to mobile phones overheating and exploding.
