Google Pixel Fold marketing images leaked, show final design ahead of official launch

Going by the images, the Google Pixel Fold looks similar to the Oppo Find N smartphone – with a smaller but wider display profile than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series. The outer display looks crisp with minimal borders, while the hinge looks sleek too. The rear camera unit features a design language that is similar to the Pixel 7 series of smartphones, but also appears to have a rear-facing microphone unit.

However, this is all that the new renders of the smartphone show, and there are no visuals of the inner folding display. This is paired with previous real-world videos of the smartphone that showed how the device could look in the hand.

The Pixel Fold images shared by Blass give us a clear glimpse of what Google’s own interpretation of a foldable phone would look like. The device is expected to be powered by the Tensor G2 custom chip by Google that also powers the Pixel 7 lineup, and feature a 5.8-inch display on the outside that reveals a 7.6-inch folding display on the inside. The device is expected to weigh over 280 grams, which is expected to be a folding device, and is also expected to offer a claimed battery life of 24 hours.

More details should emerge in the coming days, given that the launch is less than two weeks away.
