Sony WH-XB910N successor revealed ahead of official launch
The renders, which come courtesy of veteran leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, show that the successor to Sony The WH-XB910N Extra Bass Wireless Headphones will come in three color options. While the black and blue colors continue from the predecessor, there is a new white color as well.
There are some design changes in the upcoming headphones. For one, Sony is replacing the touch controls for music playback with traditional buttons. We also see a grille on the surface to enable active noise cancellation. To recall, the WH-XB910N offers digital noise cancellation. Hence, you can expect better noise cancellation with the upcoming headphones.
Beyond ANC, Sony’s successor WH-XB910N is also expected to get DSEE (Enhancing Music Files) to enhance the audio experience, and Bass Boost via the companion app. OnLeaks reveals to us that Sony’s upcoming iteration The WH-XB910N will use the same V1 chip found on the WH-1000X series for sound processing. While there isn’t much information on battery capacity, their information suggests playback time 35 hours with ANC enabled. The device will also support a quick charge system that will provide juice for 1 hour of music playback in just 3 minutes. next generation sony The WH-XB910N headphones can also support multi-point connection.
Additionally, Steve The upcoming Sony WH-CH520 headphones in a new beige color option. These headphones will replace the WH-CH510 and our renders show a circular ear cup and generous padding above the headband. The WH-CH520 headphones also get part of the volume rocker switch, power on-off button, and a charging port.
The pricing and launch timeline for the upcoming Sony devices is still unknown.
