Ola S1 and Ola S1 Air lineup refreshed
Ola Electric, at its presentation today, announced the addition of a new 2kWh battery pack option for the Ola S1 premium electric scooter, aimed at customers who want a feature-packed EV but without the need for high range figures. This new variant posts an estimated range of 91 km on a single charge and a top speed of 90 kmph. The motor remains the same and the S1 promises to deliver performance similar to the Ola S1 with 3kWh battery pack and the more premium Ola S1 Pro with 4kWh battery pack. However, the top speed of the Ola S1 (2kWh variant) has been capped at 90 kmph.

Ola Electric has also refreshed the Ola S1 Air, which is yet to reach customers. Ola S1 Air also now has three battery pack options – 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh battery pack. The company claims that these will return a range of 85 km, 125 km and 165 km respectively. All S1 Air variants will use the 4.5kW motor and each will have a top speed of 85 kmph. Ola has scrapped the 2.5kWh battery pack that was supposed to power the S1 Air and will instead upgrade customers to the 3kWh battery pack variant for free.
The specifications and color list are the same for all the Ola S1 Air, Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro variants. The Ola S1 electric scooter with a 2kWh battery pack has been priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) and is available to buy from today. Ola S1 Air price with 2kWh battery pack starts at Rs 84,999 (ex-showroom). Ola Electric is taking reservations from today and deliveries will begin from July 2023.
