Call Of Duty 2023 Will Reportedly Be A Modern Warfare Spinoff, Release Date Leaked

According to Insider Gaming, the next Call of Duty will be heavily tied to the Modern Warfare series. Players can expect a lot of remastered multiplayer maps from Modern Warfare and other COD titles. While the game is expected to be called Modern Warfare 3, it hasn’t actually been confirmed yet. The Modern Warfare spinoff is apparently being developed by Sledgehammer Games. The game is also expected to have two beta access weeks and early access to the campaign, with a full marketing strategy similar to previous COD games. The next Call of Duty game is also said to release on last-gen consoles like PS4 and Xbox One.

Insider Gaming has revealed some key dates regarding the Call of Duty Modern Warfare spinoff, which are listed below:

  • Beta Weekend 1 (PS5, PS4) – October 6th to October 10th
  • Beta Weekend 2 (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC) – October 12 to October 16
  • Campaign Early Access (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC) – November 2
  • Full Launch (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC) – November 10th

It should be noted that neither Activision or Sledgehammer Games have yet confirmed any details from this report, so all information should be taken with a grain of salt. That said, if the reports turn out to be accurate, we should see some promotion and marketing for Call of Duty 2023 in the coming months.
