Why is 1TB of memory insufficient in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra?
The main camera on the premium Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra houses a 200MP camera module. On the one hand, this is beneficial because the better the detail, the more light is captured, and so on, but it has one drawback – the size of the image. When saving photos in JPEG format, there are no problems even at high resolution, but shooting in RAW format can be different. A report by Ixbt.com states that a 50MP RAW shot taken with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s main camera on a bright sunny day took up 127MB. A 200MP image in the same format would certainly be quite large.
It should be mentioned that the storage space required for photos and videos can be managed and reduced. To free up space on the phone itself, you can use cloud storage services or back up your content to an external hard drive.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has been launched in India in three storage variants, including 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB and the top-end 12GB+1TB, priced at Rs 124,999, Rs 134,999 and Rs 154,999 respectively. It comes in three color variants – Phantom Black, Cream and Green.
Meanwhile, on the camera front, the smartphone offers a quad-rear camera setup. there is 200MP Samsung HP2 primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and 85-degree FoV, 12MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree FoV, 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, as well as 10MP telephoto with 10x optical zoom Optical zoom with sensor f/4.9 aperture.
