Xiaomi 13 Pro is set to launch in India and globally on February 26, but ahead of the official unveiling, the global variant of the smartphone has appeared on benchmarking website Geekbench. Recall that the handset was launched in China in December last year. Now that the international variant of the phone has appeared on Geekbench, we can also compare the benchmark scores to get an idea of how the new model performs in comparison to the variant already present in the brand’s homeland.

The global variant of the Xiaomi 13 Pro managed to achieve a single-core score of 1481 and a multi-core score of 4676. single-core and 5342 in multi-core tests on Geekbench. Could this mean that the global variant will come with a performance downgrade? It is difficult to say at this point that post-launch the retail units might perform better on the benchmarking tools. However, it will be interesting to see how the story unfolds.

The Chinese version of the Xiaomi 13 Pro features a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. The display comes with HDR10+ certification and offers 1900 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, coupled with Adreno GPU. As far as the software is concerned, the phone runs on MIUI 14 custom skin (based on Android 13) out of the box.
Moving on to the optics, the phone sports a Leica-equipped triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto sensor. For selfies and video calling, the phone sports a 32MP front-facing camera.
The smartphone packs a 4,820mAh battery with 120W fast and 50W wireless charging support. For connectivity, you get 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and NFC support. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
