East-West Corridor of Lucknow Metro will be ready in five years
The proposed East-West corridor of the Lucknow Metro Rail Project is estimated to cost Rs 4,265 crore. The UP Metro Rail Corporation says the cost of the corridor has increased from Rs 3,786 crore (estimated in the detailed project report in February 2019) to Rs 4,265 crore. Area with Charbagh Railway Station. It is likely to be completed in five years.
The total length of the east-west corridor from Charbagh to Vasant Kunj will be 4.2 km and 6.8 km of elevated and underground tracks, respectively. Out of total 12 metro stations on the corridor, 7 will be underground and 5 will be elevated.
