Vivo V27 series India launch date, time, specifications, expected price and more

Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo V27 series in India soon. The series will include three models globally – Vivo V27, Vivo V27 Pro, and Vivo V27e, but Vivo is rumored to launch the V27 and V27 Pro only in India. The Vivo V27 series will serve as the successor to the Vivo V25 series that was unveiled last year and the company has started teasing the features of the upcoming devices. The Vivo V27 series is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S16 series that was launched in China late last year.

Vivo V27 series is set to launch globally including India on March 1 at 12 PM IST. The launch event will be live-streamed on the company’s social handles including Vivo’s official YouTube channel.

Talking about the pricing, the Vivo V27 Pro is rumored to launch at a starting price of Rs 40,000, while the regular Vivo V27 costs around Rs 35,000.

Based on the teasers and leaks that have surfaced so far, the upcoming Vivo V27 series smartphones will sport a curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the displays of both these devices support HDR10+ and Full HD+ resolution. The Pro model is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, while the base V27 model could be powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC that was announced recently.

It is expected that Vivo 27 and V27 Pro will have the same camera configuration. They have been teased with a triple camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX766v main sensor and is supported by macro and ultra-wide angle lenses. Also anticipated for the V27 series is an updated 50MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The colour-changing back panel that the V25 introduced to the lineup last year is likely to be retained on the current model. Both these devices are expected to run Android 13 operating system out-of-the-box and feature 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. Talking about connectivity and security features, both the handsets are said to include support for 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and 66W fast charging brick. come along.
