POCO F5 5G specifications spotted on FCC certification website

As seen in the FCC certification images above (via), the POCO F5 5G (with model number POCO 23049PCD8G) has been certified recently, indicating that the launch of the device (or series) is around the corner. It is possible The FCC listing reveals that the POCO F5 5G will come in three memory variants. The base variant will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the mid-tier variant will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and the top-tier variant will have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The FCC listing also confirms that the POCO F5 5G will run on Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin out-of-the-box. The device will support NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual SIM, 7 5G bands (n1/n5/n7/n38/n41/n77/n78) and will also have an IR blaster.

The POCO F5 5G is believed to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo that is said to launch in China soon. The device will reportedly feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the POCO F5 5G is rumored to draw power from an unannounced and upcoming Snapdragon 7-series processor, which will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. In terms of cameras, the POCO F5 5G is tipped to offer a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP selfie snapper.
