
Smartphone brand iQOO is planning to introduce the iQOO Z7 smartphone in India as the successor of iQOO Z6, However, prior to this, several leaks and rumors about the upcoming smartphone have surfaced which point towards the iQOO Z7’s design and some key specifications. The Indian variant of the smartphone has now appeared on benchmarking website Geekbench, indicating that it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset and at least 8GB of RAM. with model number vivo I2207, TiQOO Z7 has managed to score 912 in the single-core round and 2377 in the multi-core segment on the benchmarking website. The website indicates that the upcoming smartphone will offer 8GB of RAM and run on Android 13 OS out of the box. As per the benchmark results, the smartphone will be powered by a chipset that goes with the model number MT6877V/TZA, which is said to be the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset.

iQOO Z7 is likely to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. According to the company’s CEO Nipun Marya, the smartphone will include 44W Flash Charge technology, which will charge the smartphone from 1 percent to 50 percent in about 25 minutes. The upcoming smartphone is said to come with a 5,000mAh battery.
Meanwhile, a recent hands-on video has revealed that the upcoming iQOO Z7 will feature a front-facing waterdrop notch display. The power and volume buttons are also visible on the right side of the smartphone. A rectangular camera module with dual camera setup and LED flash can be seen on the back panel.
The Norway Blue color scheme with its changing colors and rounded corners made the device attractive. However, it will also come in a Pacific Black color option. Meanwhile, the iQOO Z7 sports an AMOLED screen with a built-in fingerprint scanner. According to the video, the peak brightness of the display is 1,300 nits, which is quite bright.
