Redmi Note 12S fast charging specs revealed via FCC listing ahead of launch

While the marketing name is unclear, we believe it could be the Redmi Note 12S, a rebranded Redmi Note 11S with some changes to the design and hardware. Let’s look at the FCC listing.

The FCC listing contains images of the Redmi 12S, which shows off the overall design. The front has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and narrow bezels. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge. The back of the phone has a large rectangular module that houses a large primary sensor, followed by two other regular cutouts and an LED flash. There is also Redmi branding on the back panel.

As for the hardware, the FCC listing suggests that the Redmi Note 12S will have support for 67W fast charging support. This means that the phone will replace the MDY-11-EZ charger on the Redmi Note 11S with the new MDY-14-EU/EK/EL. Unfortunately, there is not much information about the phone at the moment, but since the launch date is fast approaching, we should get more information soon.

The Redmi Note 11S comes equipped with an IP53 rating for splash resistance, Z-axis linear motor, dual stereo speakers, IR blaster, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for protection. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging.

The Redmi Note 11S sports a quad-camera system that is headlined by a 108MP primary camera. The primary lens is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro unit.
