
Chinese smartphone maker Realme has confirmed that it will unveil its new C-series smartphone – Realme C55 – in India on March 21. Realme C55 has already been introduced in Indonesia with FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, 64MP primary camera and 33W fast charging support, among other features.
While the company’s C-series smartphones are generally affordable, the upcoming Relame C55 is expected to be the costliest smartphone to be launched in the series. Ahead of the launch event, let’s take a look at the launch date, expected price, design and specifications of the phone.

The company has confirmed to the media that the affordable smartphone will launch in the country on March 21 at 12:30 PM. The Realme C55 India launch is happening two weeks after it was announced in Indonesia.

Realme C55 price in India is rumored to be around Rs 15,000. Since it is a 4G handset, we expect the device to be priced under Rs.15,000. We will have more details on the pricing when the Realme C55 officially launches in the country. For reference, the Realme C55 is priced in Indonesia at Rp 2,499,000 (roughly Rs. 13,300) for the 6GB + 128GB variant and Rp 2,999,000 (roughly Rs. 16,000) for the 8GB + 256GB model.
It is speculated that the Realme C55 will be offered in India with different storage configurations including 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB. In India, consumers will have the option of buying it in three color options including Rainforest, Rainy Night and Sunshower.

The Relame C55 sports a punch-hole display with a noticeable chin. The flat rear panel sports a matte finish and houses a rectangular camera module that houses two camera sensors and an LED flash. It will be equipped with a mini capsule similar to the Dynamic Island in the iPhone 14 Pro model.
