Malayalam cinema is known for making some of the best stories in its feature films. From crime thrillers to rom-coms and even offbeat comedies, Malayalam cinema has some of the best in every genre. Some new Malayalam movies are releasing on OTT in March 2023 and we are super excited. Purusha Premam is an upcoming Malayalam movie which is coming directly to OTT. Directed by Krishna, the drama has elements of crime as it traces the story of Sub-Inspector Sebastian who is a celebrity among commoners. He is trusting but suspicious when he becomes embroiled in a murder mystery where he becomes caught in a web of lies. He must escape and prove his innocence. With an original story by Manu Thodupuzha, Male Premam is a solid watch that is coming soon on OTT.

Starring Mammootty in the title role of Christopher, the film is an action thriller flick that will keep you engrossed throughout its runtime. It revolves around ADGP Christopher Antony, an upright police officer, who uses vigilance and encounters to protect women and prevent crimes against them.

Sesham Mic-il Fatima

Written and directed by debutant Manu C Kumar, Sesham Mic-il Fathima is an upcoming Malayalam comedy flick starring Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role. Given that the film is yet to release in theatres, there is not much to say about the plot and cast except the fact that the film is based on a woman, who is a football announcer living in Mahabalipuram. While the film is not touted to be a sports film, expect some elements that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Overall it will be a light entertainer.
