Dead By Daylight Mobiles has been removed from Google Play Store and App Store in India

The developer said, “To stay in line with the interim order of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in India, we will be removing Dead By Daylight Mobile from the storefront. Once it is removed, players in India will not be able to access Dead By Daylight Mobile.” Dead By Daylight Mobile is no longer available on the Google Play Store and App Store. That said, players who already had the game downloaded on their phones can continue playing. However, they will need to download the game from the Google Play Store And automatic updates will not be available from App Store.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has previously banned hundreds of Chinese apps as well as games such as BGMI and Free Fire over concerns regarding data security and privacy. These apps were either developed or published by tech companies such as Tencent, NetEase and Alibaba. It is currently unclear whether any in-game data from Dead By Daylight Mobile was transferred to servers in China. The Government of India has not given any official statement yet regarding the Dead By Daylight mobile ban. Behavior Interactive has not revealed any plans regarding bringing the game back to India. “We are grateful for your support and will provide further updates on the status of Dead By Daylight Mobile in India whenever possible,” said the developer.
