If you are a fan of superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan and loved watching them together in “Pathan”, then you need to hold on to your horses. A report in Variety has confirmed that they will be seen together in an upcoming spy film titled ‘Tiger Vs Pathan’. Yes, you heard that right. The reports mention that the upcoming film will be directed by Siddharth Anand.
Shah Rukh-Salman starrer ‘Tiger Vs Pathan’
Siddharth will bring together Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan for their first full-length film since “Karan Arjun” in 1995. Siddharth will also get all possible help to make India’s biggest film till date “Tiger Vs Pathan”. the report said citing a trade source.
Major Indian film studio Yash Raj Films will start shooting the film in January 2024. However, Yash Raj Films is yet to comment on the matter.
As per reports, almost half of Yash Raj Films’ upcoming films are likely to be set in the espionage world.
“Pathan”, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, has earned $130 million so far this year, making it the biggest Indian hit of 2023 so far. The Spy Universe started with the Tiger films, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. They were “Ek Tha Tiger” (2012) and “Tiger Zinda Hai” (2017). “War” (2019), starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, was the next film in the series. The four films together have grossed around $300 million.
The next spy thriller film “Tiger 3” is slated to release during the Diwali festival in November.
