WhatsApp is working on a feature to share status on Facebook

Previously, users could share their status updates to Facebook Stories, but they had to do so manually for each update. The new feature will automate the process of selected status updates posted by users, making it more convenient for them. The feature will be located in the Status privacy setting on WhatsApp and users will be able to link their Facebook accounts. It will be optional and disabled by default, which means users will have to enable it themselves if they want their status updates to be shared on Facebook Stories.

The feature is expected to save users time and effort as they no longer have to manually share their status updates with Facebook Stories while using WhatsApp. This feature will be available for both Android and iOS users. Furthermore, WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature called “Audio Chats” that will allow users to initiate audio chats during a conversation. The feature is said to include a new waveform icon in the chat header and a red button to end an ongoing call.

These new features join several other features that WhatsApp introduced last year. The company has been striving to maintain its position as the leading messaging platform, especially in the face of competition from Telegram.
