Xiaomi 13 Ultra Olive Green variant spotted with Leica CEO ahead of launch

Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi is all set to unveil the upcoming flagship Xiaomi 13 Ultra on April 18 in China. However, before that, Leica CEO Matthias Harsch has been spotted with the Olive Green variant of the upcoming smartphone.

In one of the photos posted by Leica’s Mobile Business Vice President Marius Eschweiler on his LinkedIn account, he was seen holding the olive green variant. It should be noted that some alleged renders of the upcoming phone have been leaked online but the Olive Green variant was the first to be spotted.

Leica’s Mobile Business Vice President Marius Eschweiler recently shared on LinkedIn that he and the Leica CEO visited Lei Jun at Xiaomi’s headquarters in Beijing. The objective of the meeting was to discuss their strategic collaboration in mobile imaging and future research. Development plans.

However, from photos of their meeting posted by the executive, it seems that Leica CEO Harsch has a new green smartphone with a large, protruding rear lens module in front of him, which appears to be the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The back of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra has curved edges.

The tipster who spotted these images mentions that this is the Olive Green variant of the upcoming smartphone.

A recent event teaser gave us a look at the camera section of the upcoming smartphone. It has a round camera setup and it seems to have four sensors inside. This matches the leaked images of the device, which also showed a punch-hole and a selfie camera housed in the rounded edges. The smartphone is also likely to come in two colors – White Ceramic and Black Leather.

The upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It will likely sport a quad rear camera setup with three 50MP sensors including the 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor. The smartphone will likely come equipped with a 32MP camera for selfies.

As far as the processor is concerned, the upcoming phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It will likely pack a 4,900mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.

Along with some alleged pictures, the possible price of the upcoming smartphone has also surfaced on the internet. However, the company has not yet revealed much information about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. We will get exact and accurate information about the flagship smartphone on April 18.
