World’s first headphones with lossless Hi-Res audio support launched: Here’s why they’re special

The Unity Wireless headphones support Bluetooth with Wi-Fi connectivity, and come equipped with 40mm drivers. They also have a USB Type-C port, so they work as wired headphones as well. Apart from this, you can also store hi-res music as the headphones come with 16GB of onboard storage. This means you can listen to hi-res music even when a Wi-Fi network is not available.

According to the company, the Unity Headphone can support lossless high-res music at up to 24-bit/96kHz via Wi-Fi. Hed calls this audio technology “the full-fidelity standard” and it is said to deliver “phenomenal, virtually lossless audio”. The headphones also offer noise cancellation, and can last for six to eight hours with hi-res or Bluetooth listening.

The wireless headphones also feature active environmental sound management and a customizable EQ. It is compatible with in-house player apps that can be linked to popular music services like Spotify, SoundCloud. You can even import your music library into the app for a unified listening experience.
