MIUI 14 for Redmi Note 12 Pro series
The MIUI 14 update brings new widgets, quicker app launches, better performance, better battery life, new super icons on the home screen, and more. There is a Smart ROM optimization feature that reduces the cached storage by 3GB over the course of three months. MIUI 14 is claimed to have a faster boot up due to system changes, resulting in reduced boot-up memory. Update 19 also reduces the RAM occupied by system apps such as Camera, Messages, Clock and others. There are 6 new wallpapers and new card-style widgets for users to choose from.
The MIUI 14 update will be first available to users enrolled in the Mi Pilot program and will be gradually rolled out to everyone. Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus users can check for MIUI 14 update from System Settings. It is safe to have at least 50 percent battery life and enough storage before proceeding with the update.
