iPhone 15 Pro CAD-based render
The CAD-based renders that surfaced earlier showed that the iPhone 15 Pro series will feature new haptic buttons including a push mute button. There were supposed to be two new haptic engines dedicated explicitly to emulating a button press. However, it looks like Apple has now backtracked on this, perhaps due to production constraints or the software not being fully ready.

This sudden change in design did not affect the mute switch as the new CAD-renders show a push button instead of the toggle that is currently on most iPhones. The new mute switch is expected to come with improved functionality, but the details have been kept under wraps. The only significant change to the buttons is the mute switch this year as well. Speculations are rife that this button could emulate the action button found on the Apple Watch Ultra.
The first leaked CAD-based renders show a huge camera bump, with a larger bulge than the entire camera bump of the current iPhone 14 Pro. However, with the new renders, the camera bump on the iPhone 15 Pro looks justified. While the camera bump is still present and bigger than the iPhone 14 Pro, the protrusions don’t look as prominent. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro Max may feature a slightly larger camera bump, which adds to the ongoing rumors that it may feature a periscope zoom lens.

These renders also show the presence of a USB Type-C port, the bezels are narrow and the entire frame appears to be more rounded than the current iPhone 14 series.
Will the price of xiiPhone 15 increase?
Separately, Twitter user Revagnus Claim Compared to the iPhone 14 series, the production cost of the iPhone 15 base model is expected to increase by about 12 percent and the iPhone 15 Pro model by about 20 percent. He says that TSMC manufacturing price hike could be the main culprit here. It remains to be seen whether Apple will pass on or bear the burden on customers by increasing the price of the iPhone 15 series.
