In another development, POCO India head Himanshu Tandon teased the POCO F5 in a cryptic tweet on Twitter. in a separate do, he also confirmed that the upcoming POCO phone will launch only in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB storage configurations following the poll results of his followers. We believe the top executive could be talking about the POCO F5 as the company may not launch a 256GB variant for its X and M-series models.
Indian version of POCO F5 on Geekbench

The Indian version of the POCO F5 has appeared on Geekbench With model number 23049PCD8I. The listing reveals that the phone has managed to score 1118 points in the single-core round and 4236 points in the multi-core segment.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the phone will come with 8GB of RAM and Android 13 OS out-of-the-box. The codename is mentioned in the motherboard section ‘Marblin’, Which could be connected to Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC and clocked at 2.92GHz, 3× core clocked at 2.50GHz, and 4× core clocked at 1.80GHz.

POCO F5 Pro global variant has appeared on Geekbench and has been given the model number 23013PC75G. The phone has managed to score 1302 in the single-core round and 4080 in the multi-core segment. The listing suggests that the phone will pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (could be 8+ Gen1) with a peak clock speed of 3.0GHz and 12GB of RAM. The POCO F5 Pro is likely to boot Android 13 OS out of the box.

The POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro are expected to come with 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole cutouts. The vanilla POCO F5 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC, while the POCO F5 Pro may come with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The SoC will be coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Both the phones are likely to boot Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom skin out-of-the-box.
Talking about the optics, the POCO F5 and F5 Pro will feature a 64MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro triple camera sensor. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
The POCO F5 will pack a 5,000mAh battery, while the POCO F5 Pro will get a larger 5,500mAh unit. However, both the models are expected to come with 67W fast charging support.
