This Valentine’s Day, fans of late filmmaker Yash Raj Chopra will get a chance to relive his legacy through a four-part docu-series titled “The Romantics”. The series is now streaming across India on OTT platforms. The Romantics pays tribute to late filmmaker Yash Chopra, who was known for his masterpieces in the romance genre. directed web series Oscar and Emmy-nominated filmmaker Smriti Mounders. It brings together 35 leading celebrity icons including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit and others to pay tribute to 50 years of cinematic history.

The Romantics docu-series plot details
Directed by Smriti Mundra Romantics is a tribute to the late filmmaker Yash Raj Chopra, who is often considered a romantic ‘Father of Romance’. The four-part series traces YRF Entertainment’s 50-year legacy of how the late Yash Raj Chopra and his Aditya Chopra turned the Bollywood film industry towards romance. The docu-series brings together some of the biggest names in Bollywood, both young and old, to share their experiences of working with the late Yash Raj Chopra, gain insight into the journey and also reveal what YRF’s Courtesy How Movie Stars Became Household Names.
Where to watch The Romantics docu-series online?
Romantics will be streaming on Netflix from 14 February 2023. Viewers can watch the docu-series on the OTT platform with an active subscription plan.
Netflix currently offers a choice of four plans in India and has recently introduced price cuts to make its offers more attractive. The base or mobile plan gives a user the facility of mobile screen streaming at a monthly cost of Rs 149. Viewers availing this plan can watch content only in Standard Definition (SD). The highest plan currently allows compatibility across a total of six screens and four devices. Viewers can enjoy content at Ultra HD resolution and benefit from Netflix’s spatial audio technology.
