Motorola Rizr rollable concept phone There is a 5-inch POLED screen with 15:9 aspect ratio that can be rolled up to make a 6.5-inch screen with 22:9 aspect ratio. When it is not rolled up, the rear screen will serve as a second screen. The Always-On Display (AOD) shows date, time and weather on the secondary display, which can show notifications. Motorola gives the smartphone a motorized mechanism that makes the screen rollable. If you press the power button twice, the screen will roll up. The brand has provided the phone’s wallpapers that show effects when the screen is moved.

When rolled up, it has a delicate display on top. Since the front camera and speaker are below the screen, when a call comes in, or you try to open the front camera, the screen will automatically roll up a bit. The company has made sure that certain apps work well with the phone and ensure that they are optimized for it. YouTube works perfectly even when the screen is large.

When the screen is rotated, the video being viewed in normal mode will be enlarged. When you open the Gmail app, the screen will automatically enlarge to make it easier to compose emails. When the screen is rolled up, the app icons and other things on the screen also change automatically.

There are two cameras and an LED flash in the back of the phone. Moto has made it possible to switch to the front camera with a double flick of the wrist in the Camera app. Motorola has placed a USB Type C port on the left side of the phone. The phone has a 3,000mAh battery. But the company has not told how the device will be charged.

Many other specifications and price of the smartphone are unknown as the brand is yet to announce the smartphone for the global audience.
