Apple Battery Replacement Cost for iPhones
For the iPhone 14 series, Apple had announced at the time of its launch in September last year that subsequent battery replacement would cost $99 (roughly Rs. 8,100). This price is the same for the entire iPhone 14 lineup. For the rest, the prices are as follows:
- iPhone 5 to iPhone 8: $69 (roughly Rs. 5,700), above $49 (roughly Rs. 4,000)
- iPhone X to iPhone 13 Series: $89 (roughly Rs. 7,300), up from $69 (roughly Rs. 5,700)

The biggest price hike Apple has introduced in terms of battery replacement cost is for its MacBook lineup, which is now at least $30 (roughly Rs. 2,500) and up to $50 (roughly Rs. 4,100) more expensive. Here are the new prices:
- MacBook Air (all eligible models): $159 (roughly Rs. 13,000), up from $129 (roughly Rs. 10,500)
- MacBook Pro: $249 (roughly Rs. 20,400), up from $199 (roughly Rs. 16,300)
- MacBook (2016 and 2017 models): Similar to the MacBook Pro range

Lastly, the price increase has also been reflected in the cost of replacing the battery on the iPad. However, it’s important to note that not all iPads will cost extra. According to the report, tablets that will have the same battery replacement cost include:
- iPad (all generations): $99 (roughly Rs. 8,100) to $199 (roughly Rs. 16,300)
- 6th Generation iPad Pro 12.9: $179 (roughly Rs. 14,700)
- 4th generation iPad Pro 11: $149 (roughly Rs. 12,200)
Battery replacement prices for the remaining eligible iPads will increase by $20, ranging from $99 to $119 (roughly Rs. 9,800). These devices include:
- iPad Pro 12.9 (5th generation or older)
- iPad Pro 11 (3rd generation or older)
- iPad Pro 10.5
- iPad Pro 9.7
- iPad mini (all generations)
- iPad Air (all generations)
